Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year

Daily Operations, Schedules, Maps, Policies & Procedures

  • The school day will begin promptly at 7:45 a.m. 
  • Students will receive a copy of the bell schedule on the first day of school.
  • A warning bell will ring at 7:50 a.m. each morning. Students not in class at 8:03 a.m. will be considered tardy for their 1st period. 
  • Students are expected to be on time to each class. 
  • An accumulation of tardies will result in consequences as outlined in the Choctaw County Student Handbook.



Failure to be on time will result in a tardy unless the student has a pass from a staff member. The school day will end at 3:00 p.m. Students are expected to exit the building at dismissal.

Student Schedules


  • Student schedules will be available soon and will be viewed through the Parent Portal.
    (It is recommended that you take a screenshot before arriving to OPEN HOUSE)
  •  Students will be informed of their scheduled lunch time during the first day of school.
  • Learn how to create a parent account in the Parent Portal to monitor grades and attendance HERE.
  • Learn how to set tardy, absence, and grade notifications in the Parent Portal HERE

Check Outs



  • All checkouts are handled through the front office.
  • A Government issued picture ID is required to check out students. 
  • No checkouts after 2:45 pm. No Exceptions.
  • No checkout after 11:45 am on Early Release Day. No Exceptions. 
  • Written and electronic check-out requests should be received at least one hour before requested checkout time.
  • If this process is not followed, some delay can be expected. Students MAY NOT checkout for lunch.



Outside food/drink


  • Commercially prepared food may not be delivered to students.


Students MAY NOT leave campus to buy lunch and then return to school with that lunch. 


Student Dress Code


Choctaw County High School is constantly striving to maintain the best possible learning environment for our students. Any conditions that distract students from learning is of serious concern. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to reinforce the dress code policy as stated in the Choctaw County School System handbook.
